Our services are designed to facilitate a "Reboot"—a vocational and creative transition for high-functioning individuals navigating the gap between clinical recovery and sustainable independence.

Nature of Service and Medical Disclaimer

Mindforest operates as a hybrid care farm and creative-tech studio focused on social reintegration and vocational capacity building. It is fundamental to understand that Mindforest is not a medical facility, a clinical rehabilitation center, or a provider of licensed therapy. We do not provide medical diagnoses, clinical treatments, or emergency psychiatric care.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health management and that you have consulted with medical professionals to ensure you are fit for the physical activity of a food forest or the cognitive load of digital work. Our "Reboot" philosophy is a training model, not a medical protocol, and should never be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.

User Responsibilities and Conduct

As a Member or "Rebooter," you agree to engage with our community and tools in a manner that respects the safety and "Glass Battery" of yourself and others. For those participating in physical operations at the Groundsite, you are responsible for following all safety instructions, using equipment as directed, and respecting the tranquil environment of the food forest.

In the digital realm, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your own devices. Given our "2-Hour Baseline" philosophy, we encourage you to manage your pacing effectively; however, the ultimate responsibility for monitoring your cognitive limits and preventing "Battery Crashes" rests with you.

Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds

Mindforest offers various services including physical programs, digital subscriptions, and future physical goods. All financial transactions are processed through secure third-party providers such as Stripe or relevant App Store ecosystems. By subscribing to our digital tools or booking a stay at the Groundsite, you agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize the scheduled charges.

While we strive for a private-pay model that ensures high motivation and quality, we adhere to Portuguese and EU consumer protection laws regarding cancellation periods and refunds. Specific refund eligibility for farm stays or digital subscriptions will be clearly communicated at the point of purchase and typically requires notice periods to manage our sustainable agricultural and operational scheduling.

Data Responsibility and Local Storage

Our commitment to privacy is detailed in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. A critical component of our digital services is the "Local-First" architecture. Because we fight to keep your data—such as your brain dumps and project goals—stored exclusively on your personal device, Mindforest does not have access to this information.

Consequently, you are solely responsible for backing up your own data. In the event of device loss, theft, or hardware failure, Mindforest cannot restore your local data because we never collected it. We provide the scaffolding, but you own the contents of your mind.

Intellectual Property

All content provided by Mindforest, including but not limited to the "Reboot" methodology, the Mindforest brand assets, software code, educational materials, and the visual aesthetic of our platforms, is the exclusive property of Mindforest Unipessoal LDA. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to use our tools and resources for your personal growth and vocational reintegration. You may not replicate, sell, or distribute our proprietary models or educational frameworks without explicit written permission, as these represent the bridge we have built to support our community.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Portuguese law, Mindforest Unipessoal LDA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our physical or digital spaces. While we maintain a safe and supportive "Trampoline" environment, participation in farm activities involves inherent risks associated with nature and agricultural work.

By entering the Groundsite, you assume voluntary risk for minor physical injuries typical of gardening and outdoor labor. Furthermore, we are not liable for any professional setbacks or regressions in health, as our services are elective tools for self-directed reintegration.

Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Groundsite or our digital applications at our sole discretion if we determine that your conduct poses a safety risk, violates the dignity of our members, or breaches these terms. You may terminate your relationship with Mindforest at any time by cancelling your subscriptions or deleting our applications from your devices. Upon termination, any obligations regarding intellectual property and limitation of liability shall continue to survive.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Portuguese Republic and the applicable regulations of the European Union. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Mindforest services that cannot be resolved through mutual "Attunement" shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in the district of Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
